Cutting Plastic

US LaserMade can cut plastics up to 3/8 inch thick. We cut and fabricate parts from plastic sheet material and perform the trimming/degating of plastic after an injection molding process.

The advantages of using a laser are:

• The cut is very smooth and generally requires no secondary finishing
• Cutting is fast and accurate
• A very high level of detail is possible
• Setup is economical.
• The process is non-contact - there are no cutters to sharpen.
